"I have been producing art and craft in the nelson region since 1985. This has included hand dyed and woven wall hangings and floor rugs when my children were small, followed by a large body of local land and seascape paintings in oils when more time and space became available.

 

In more recent times I have explored my love of the ocean with a career as a commercial yacht skipper as well as six years learning the skills of traditional/classic sail making with Nalder Sails.

 

My work is of a very practical nature using both modern and traditional sail making techniques but I am now retired and very busy doing my own projects and teaching my grandchildren how to be proper pirates"
